…and to keep them looking and feeling good after your treatment at Solesister
Feet need to be washed daily with soap and dried well, making sure that all the creases and crevices between the toes are moisture free.
Moisture and warmth are the perfect environment for fungal growth, and therefore the interdigital spaces need to be dry.
Should your toes be very closely packed then a small amount of surgical spirit on cotton wool wiped between each toe will dry the skin out.
Nails need to be kept short, lesser toe nails below the tip of the toe and big toe nails in line with the tip of the toe.
Do not cut nails down at the side or straight across but follow the contour of the toe. This will avoid sharp square corners and ingrowing toenails.
